US reviles top 10 universities for international students
America’s reputation around the world may wax and wane as its foreign policies and leaders change, but its colleges seem only to grow in global luster and appeal. Foreign students contributed $24 billion to the U.S. economy during the 2012-2013 school year, 12% more than the previous year, according to trade group NAFSA, the Association of International Educators.
1. University of Southern California
- Location: Los Angeles, Calif.
- Number of international students: 9,840
Proximity to Hollywood and the California sunshine certainly don’t hurt. USC, where 72% of its foreign population is graduate students (most in the engineering school), has led this list for 12 straight years. As a state, California attracts more international students than any other.
2. University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign
- Location: Urbana-Champaign, Ill/
- Number of international students: 9,804
The most-highly ranked public university on the list, U of I may not score points for its brutal winters, but it wins international students nonetheless, in part because of its well-regarded computer science and engineering programs.
3. Purdue University
- Location: West Lafayette, Ind.
- Number of international students: 9,509

Google’s top officials agree to open local version of YouTube in Pakistan
ISLAMABAD: After a long time there is an encouraging news of YouTube lovers fraternity that YouTube administration has agreed to open its local version in Pakistan.
Now chances for re-opening of video place of the world have increased in coming few months. According to sources final decision in this regard would be taken by inter-ministerial committee.
In September 2012 government had banned YouTube across the country following refusal of its parent company Google to remove a blasphemous film from the site. Source

Facebook users can no longer remain anonymous!
Facebook has removed the ability for people to remain anonymous in searches on the website.
The social network announced that it has removed the “Who can look up your Timeline by name?” feature. This feature had allowed users to remain anonymous in search – and with the most secure setting switched on, users could ensure that people typing their name wouldn’t see that they had an account on the website.
Now, users can run, but they can no longer hide. The removal of the feature means that all users will show up in search results, even if the search is being carried out by a stalker or admirer. This essentially means that anybody searching for your name will be able to see that you have a Facebook account.
Trying to defend the decision, Facebook said the security feature made the website “feel broken” at times.
Of course, if you really don’t want to be found on Facebook, you also have the option of deleting your account.

Government announces Tablet PCs for school students
After facilitating university students, the Punjab government has decided to give tablet (tabs) computers to school students studying class 6th to 10th.
While talking to media, provincial Education Minister; Rana Mashood Ahmed said that the government is formulating the project for large-scale distribution of computer tablets so the school students will get rid of heavy bags.
He said that a Britain based firm and computer Software Company has been shortlisted for the purpose and an agreement will be signed with them in presence of CM Punjab Shahbaz Sharif.
The minister further said that books included in the courses will be installed into the Tablets while each digital book would cost approximately Rs 5000.

Huawei launches world’s slimmest smartphone
China’s Huawei unveiled its flagship smartphone, the Ascend P6, at its first standalone launch event on Tuesday, underlining its ambitions to compete with Apple and Samsung in the top tier of mobile technology.
The company says the device, at 6.18 mm thick, is the world’s slimmest. It has a 5 megapixel front-facing camera, designed for taking “selfies”, or pictures of the owner to be shared on social media networks.
